Washington Boating Alliance The Washington Boating Alliance is an umbrella organization created to provide a coordinated approach to interface several organizations and governmental agencies that affect boating in the Northwest. The Washington Boating Alliance will permanently function to create consensus opinions to better accomplish legislative missions to improve funding for boating programs and watchdog all forms of government activity that may affect boating.
Clean Marina Washington The Clean Marina Washington program was created in 2005 as an expansion of the EnviroStars program, which provides incentives for businesses to reduce and better manage their hazardous waste. Clean Marina Washington is an incentive-based certification program in which marinas assess their operations and implement improvements to better protect the environment. When they reach the qualification standards of Clean Marina Washington they earn the right to "fly the flag."
Fish Northwest Fish Northwest puts a business face on recreational fishing with the primary focus of lobbying the State of Washington to increase recreational fishing opportunity, while at the same time protecting and enhancing salmon and shellfish.
Clean Boating Foundation The Clean Boating Foundation (CBF) is working towards cleaner waters in Washington state. Partnering with boatyards, Washington state Department of Ecology, environmental groups and scientific experts, CBF is a market-driven effort to go above and beyond the minimum environmental requirements laid out in the Washington Boatyard Permit.
