This program will feature a control group of boat manufacturers who agree to provide timely retail registrations of the power boating market (minimum every 2 weeks). Participating manufacturers will receive data. Goals of this effort include:

• Providing a more accurate and timely read of the retail market
  
• Enabling improved reaction time to changing market trends
  
• Improving accuracy of state registration numbers: "retail date" as opposed to "state registration date"
  
• Allowing the industry to measure/assess the Grow Boating Marketing Campaign
  
• Primary source of market data for the industry
