REGIONAL
The Grow Boating Program serves the NMTA's
core purposeto increase the number of
boaters in the Northwest. Funding
for the program was established in May
2003 and has grown by leaps and bounds
since its inception. It is funded through
a surcharge on square-footage rented during
the Seattle Boat Show.

Mission Statement
To formulate and execute initiatives that
promote the boating lifestyle and improve
the boating experience that will ultimately
increase participation in boating and
lead to increases in sales of marine products
and services.

and provide oversight of the Grow Boating
Strategic Initiatives
Provide oversight for development
and execution of Grow Boating Initiative
Strategic Plans and ensure all contributing
industry stakeholders have a voice in
how programs are managed through an
equitable governance structure.
Develop reporting systems to give
industry more timely information on
retail sales.
Disseminate news/information via all
appropriate channels and methods to
vested industry stakeholders
Adequately staff and support Grow
Boating Initiative to maximize industry's
investment
